Our power

Guess who: the disciples or Jesus?

  8. Turning towards the dead woman, he said, “...get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing _____ she sat up. He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet.

Answers: 1. Jesus (John 5:8-9) 2. Disciples (Acts 5:16) 3. Jesus (Luke 4:40) 4. Disciple (Acts: 3: 7-9) 5. disciple (Acts 5:15) 6. Disciple (Acts 9:33) 7. Jesus (John 11:43) 8. Disciple (Acts 9:40)

How many did you get right? We too have the same power of the Holy Spirit inside of us. Jesus said to his disciples, “Very truly I tell you , whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these” (John 14:12).

How often do we underestimate the power of living a life with the Holy Spirit? Can you imagine what our lives and the lives of those around us look like if we leaned into that power even just a little bit more?
